Mangaluru, Jan 1: “The government should place on record in front of the people how many people have converted to other religions before passing the anti-conversion law,” urged P G R Sindhia, senior politician and state Chief commissioner of Bharath Scouts and Guides.
Speaking in a discussion programme held by the district Patrakartara Sangha at the Press club here on Saturday January 1, he said that the politics in the state has become disastrous. “It appears that only eight to ten people are into politics. Some are busy making statements and responding to statements. It is not a good development. Politics should be subject oriented,” he said.
