Mangaluru, Jan 2: Dry grass that has grown tall near the university at Konaje caught fire on Sunday January 2.
Fire spread from the campus of the university to Konaje police station.
Fire service personnel are in operation to put out the fire. The grass had grown too big throughout the campus of the university. It is said that every year, miscreants set fire to the dry grass.
Though a fire service station is requested at Konaje, the demand is yet to be fulfilled.
