Kasargod: Omicron variant scare - Kerala govt imposes restrictions on public gathering

Kasargod, Jan 4: The Kerala government, to contain the spread of the Omicron variant in the state, has imposed restrictions on public gatherings like marriage, religious, political, and other public programmes.

As many as 75 people will be allowed for the indoor programmes and 150 members for the outdoor programmes. The government has decided to hold health check-up in airports for those arriving from abroad.

In the state, as many as 181 Omicron cases have been found till date.
