Kundapur, Jan 6: “All the preparations are made to provide necessary facilities to patients in the Kundapur hospital. Arrangements are made for beds at the government hostel if the Covid cases spike,” said deputy commissioner Kurma Rao. He was speaking during his visit to the hospital on Thursday, January 6.

“There is no need for people to panic at present. The district administration and the department of health are well equipped for any emergency situations. There are students at the government hostel at present. We will convert the hostel as Covid care center if necessary. We will obtain additional beds through donors,” he said.

Sub divisional officer K Raju, tahsildar Kiran Gorayya and revenue officer Dinesh were present.
