Udupi, Jan 9: In an appeal to the public, Sri Vidyasagaratheertha Swamiji of Krishnapura Math said, “Paryaya is round the corner in the city. We have to keep in mind the increasing cases of Omicron variant infections of Covid 19. If we are negligent, we will have to face the consequences in future. So I am appealing to the disciples, well-wishers and devotees of the Math to follow the Covid guidelines announced by the government with dedication.
“Let us celebrate the tradition of Paryaya. Let us offer to God main rituals. In addition to the blessings of God, this will ensure good health of people. That is why I request the public to take part in the Paryaya with all rules and regulations,” he said.
