Beltangady: Nidle high school headmaster dies in road accident

Beltangady, Jan 11: In a tragic road accident which happened between a lorry and a motorbike near K R Nagar, Mysuru, headmaster of Nidle government high school in Beltangady taluk, Suresh M (44), lost his life on the spot. The accident happened on Sunday January 9.

Ravishankar (41), Karate trainer who was traveling on the pillion of the two-wheeler driven by Suresh, also lost his life. However, Manvith (9), son, escaped with minor injuries.

Suresh basically was from Kollegal. Lately he was living in a rented house with family at Mysuru. On April 1, 2021, he was posted as the headmaster of Nidle government high school. On January 7, he left for his native place from Nidle. On January 9 evening, he was moving in his motorbike near K R Nagar, Mysuru, when he was thrown to the road after a truck hit his vehicle. Santosh and Ravishankar, who came under the truck wheels, reportedly died on the spot.

Suresh is survived by mother, wife, two sons and brothers. His colleagues from Nidle high school visited his family to share their grief.
