Kalaburagi, Jan 11: In a gory incident which was reported from Sunnada Bhatti area in the city, four to five boys gang raped a 13-year old mentally retarded girl from Arafat Colony. The incident had happened on January 5.
The parents of the girl filed a complaint in Gulbarga university police station on Monday January 10 in this connection. The girl was hospitalized and treated. They also revealed that they came to know about the incident late as the girl suffers from dementia. Surprisingly, all the rapists were aged 15 to 16 years, the policemen stated.
The complaint states that the girl was taken to a desolate area behind Inamdar college in Sunnada Bhatti area where she was raped. The residents of the area where the girl lives and those known to the girl were involved with this incident.
