Bengaluru, Jan 12: Primary and Secondary Education Minister BC Nagesh held a meeting through video conference with the Deputy Commissioners of districts and District Deputy Directors of Public Instruction on the precautions to be taken in view of the surge in Covid infection cases.
The minister reviewed the situation in all schools, pre-university colleges and students of residential schools from the Sarva Shishkana Karnataka office in Bengaluru on Wednesday.
The minister stressed the need for strictly following the circular directions issued by the government.
Education Department Principal Secretary S Selvakumar, Commissioner of Public Instruction R Vishal and PU Board Director R Snehal as well as other senior officials attended the meeting.
