Kadaba: Kerala man ends life by consuming acid

Kadaba, Jan 13: Sridharan Kani (55) from Kerala ended his life by consuming acid on Wednesday January 12. He was living in a rented room in Kidmaru village, Kadaba taluk.

Sridharan lived in a rented room owned by Narnappa Gowda at Hattane Kallu in Kidmaru. He worked as rubber tapper. When he tried to end his life by gulping acid used to make rubber sheets, Rezi R Somaraj who was nearby, took him to Puttur government hospital with the help of some locals. At the advice of the doctors there, Sridharan was being taken to Mangaluru hospital when his end came.

On the basis of a complaint filed by Shrijit, son of the deceased, Bellare police have registered a case.
