Mangaluru: Barber ends life by hanging

Mangaluru, Jan 13: A youth hanged himself from a cashew tree located in a thicket on the side of a road leading to Chelairu Lord Chandramouleeshwara temple near the graveyard of Lingappayyakadu within the limits of Mulky police station limits on Wednesday January 12.

The victim has been identified as Bharat Bhandary (30), who had a barber shop in Mulky. He was a resident of Lingappayyakadu in K S Rao Nagar, Mulky. It is learnt that in the afternoon, he had informed his friends that he suffered from chronic backache. He had called his family at 1.40 pm and then failed to respond to calls made to him.

Bharat has left behind his wife and two-year-old daughter. Reason for his sudden decision to end his life could not be ascertained. Mulky police visited the spot and registered a case.
