Karkala, Jan 29: Minister Sunil Kumar got infuriated over an officer of Jal Jeevan department for giving incorrect information. The minister said that the officer is unfit for his job.
The incident occurred in the city during the KDP meeting of Karkala and Hebri taluks. Sunil Kumar had sought information from the concerned officer with regards to the Jal Jeevan project. However, there was a huge variation in the statistics that were provided by the officer.
The minister, who got angry at the officer, said, “I want a practical report. Do not come to meetings to pass time. When you attend a meeting, bring a genuine report. I want complete information. Why you are providing wrong report? You are unfit to do the work of Jal Jeevan department.”
