Bengaluru, Jan 30: In view of the large number of candidates making mistakes in submitting their application forms for CET, NEET and JEE examinations, the State Government has decided to make arrangements for providing special training to candidates at the pre-college and post-college levels in the respective colleges.

Higher Education Minister Dr CN Ashwath Narayan on Sunday, January 30 announced that instructions have been given to make arrangements for organising special training in colleges to candidates to properly fill the applications.

Dr Narayan said most of the applications were found to be making mistakes in filling up details like annual income, categories, names, date of birth, courses opted etc., leading to rejection of applications.

The Special training arrangements for properly filling up the applications for CET, NEET and JEE examinations will be organised through ‘’Get Set Go,’’ the minister has said in a press release.

He explained that candidates applying for engineering, medical and post-graduate courses through “Get Set Go” were generally benefited and therefore the special training will help the candidates. The government will also be trying to educate the candidates through media, including social media platforms, he said.
