Bengaluru: Mohammed Haris Nalapad appointed state youth Congress president

Bengaluru, Feb 1: Mohammed Nalapad, son of MLA N A Haris, has been appointed as the state youth Congress.

As per an agreement earlier reached, the term of Raksha Ramaiah as youth Congress president has come to an end. National youth Congress president, B V Srinivas, issued an order appointing Nalapad in Raksha Ramaiah's place. Immediately after the order was issued, Nalapad performed office puja on Monday January 31.

Nalapad will officially take over charge of the new post in a programme of handing over charge which will be held on February 10 at the palace ground here on February 10. Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president D K Shivakumar, leader of the opposition, Siddaramaiah, and other leaders will participate.
