Udupi, Feb 1: Here is some good news for the needy senior citizens. The Kasturba Hospital has announced the availability of anti Covid vaccine booster doses for the senior citizens at free of cost with effect from Tuesday, February 1.

Those senior citizens with sensitive health conditions and recommended for booster dose of the vaccine may avail the service during hospital working hours. It may be recalled that senior citizens with health conditions like chronic diabetes or suffering from conditions causing low immunity have been recommended a booster dose apart from the two standard doses.

    I am below 60 . Got 2 doses of covieshield vaccine more than 90 days ago. But the booster dose was given only to my husband who is above 60 years. Now I am getting messages from our DC office that I am due for taking booster dose and I may get the same from private hospital against payment. I approached 3 private hospitals which are in the list for COVID Vaccine. But nowhere booster services are available. Please let me know where I can get the booster against payment.
