Bengaluru, Feb 3: Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr K Sudhakar, who is also the Chikkaballapur district in-charge minister, inaugurated the new shopping complex built under the Integrated Development of Small and Medium Towns (IDSMT) programme in Chkkaballapur on Thursday.
The IDSMT is a Centrally sponsored scheme. The new shopping complex is taken up by the Chikkaballapur Town Municipal Council.
The minister also opened a payment centre run by the Bank of Baroda in the Chikkaballapur Municipal Council premises.
Chikkaballapur Deputy Commissioner R Latha, Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer P Shivashankar, Taluk Tahsildar Ganapathy Shastry, Karnataka State Mango Development and Marketing Corporation Chairman K V Nagaraju, Chikkaballaur Town Municipal Council Chief Anand Reddy and Commissioner Mahantesh as well as others participated in the programme.
