Kundapur, Feb 5: Shashidhar Acharya, who was born and blossomed in a rural area, cultivated an interest for painting in his school days. He then pursued ITI education. Currently he is engaged in fine arts. He has not yet got a suitable forum to exhibit his hidden talent.

Acharya gets engrossed in painting whenever he is alone, and to derive a sense of satisfaction. He brings live on the canvas incidents or portraits relating to things which touch his heart. He is able to ably portray nature, emotional lines, internal turmoil, mind when it is gloomy etc and other complicated expressions which cannot be explained in words, effectively through his lines, strokes and colours.

His creations, right from the timely profile, artefacts which rise from his potent imagination, surprises the onlookers because of their natural appearances and diverse colours. He has created hundreds of paintings and retained all of them himself. He hasn't arranged any exhibitions of his paintings so far. Each of his paintings are complete on their own due to the uniqueness of the matter, colourful hues of nature paintings, emotions expressed by the objects and explicit emotions. Each of his paintings are complete. Many people have got their portraits and profiles done through him.

Shashidhar is the son of Shridhar Acharya and Sheelevathi Acharya. He completed his primary education in Kajady school, secondary education in Morarji Desai residential school Koteshwar, PUC in Shankaranarayana PU College and then ITI. He started to give shape to his first love, painting, from 2018 onward.

The strokes of the paintbrush and lines Acharya creates have unique richness of their own. Even though he was not formally trained by any Guru or mentor, he has mastered the art of creating shapes and replicas that have formed in his mind through his paintbrush. His exquisite art and ability to create beautiful paintings need suitable opportunity and forum through which this artist who remains hidden so far gets exposed and the world of printings gets to know a valuable and excellent talent.
