In the complaint filed by Hasanabba, father of the deceased, it is said, “Ayisha got married to Shahban Misbah in April 2019. The couple did not have any children. On January 30, my son-in-law called my son and said that my daughter Hafifa is not well and asked him to go to his flat immediately. My son and his wife immediately went to the apartment at Falnir where my daughter lived with Misbah. They saw my daughter lying on the sofa and not speaking. They immediately took her to a private hospital in the city. There the doctors declared that she was dead."

“The final rites of Hafifa were held later. Both mother-in-law and son-in-law were giving physical and mental torture to my daughter. They have killed my daughter and lied that she has committed suicide. So action needs to be taken aganist both,” Hasanabba has alleged.

Pandeshwar police are investigating further.
