Udupi: Police head constable conferred with PhD from KSOU

Udupi, Feb 7: Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) conferred PhD on Santhosh Shetty, who works as a head constable with Malpe central office of coastal patrol police.

The PhD was conferred on Santhosh for his thesis ‘A study on the police system during the times of Mysuru Odeyars’. He was guided by Prof Dr Mahadevi of KSOU.

Santhosh Shetty is the son of Rajeevi Shedthi of Brahmavara Salikeri and alumnus of Haradi Vidyamandira.
