Mangaluru, Feb 7: “Former prime minister and Janata Dal (S) supremo H D Deve Gowda will set in motion the Swabhimani Abhiyana campaign at the Unity Hall, Kallapu here on February 12,” said JDS state vice president and programme convener M B Sadashiva.

“The campaign will be held in the state condemning the alleged misrule of the BJP government at the centre and the state.”

Addressing the media on Monday, February 7, Sadashiva said that JDS had decided to root out BJP government in the elections and planned the campaign from Kallapu. “The campaign will be held in the other districts later. State and national leaders will take part in the programme that will be held on February 12 at 5 PM. The party will be united by way of the campaign,” said M B Sadashiva.

JDS district president Jake Madhava Gowda, former president Vitla Mohammed Kunhi, Vasanth Poojary, Sushil Noronha, Akshit Suvarna and others were present.
