Mangaluru: Excise officials seize 2.3 kg Ganja worth Rs 50,000, arrest one

Mangaluru, Feb 7: The state excise department sub division one office sleuths on rounds have raided Poorvith Mini Mart, a general store in Somnathpur here and seized 2.300 kilgrams of ganja worth Rs 50,000 stashed for selling to the students and tourists visiting Someshwar beach.

 

They have arrested Somnathpur resident Harshvardhan, son of Udayakumar in this connection.

The operation was conducted by in charge sub inspector Sunita, sub inspector Sudhir, staff Umesh H, Shivappa Kenchannavar, Maruti D J, Santhosh, Naveen Naik B and Anand under guidance of the higher officials.
