Mangaluru Feb 22: Corporator Sangeetha R Nayak and other dignitaries released a video ‘More of Mangaluru’ by Shobha Rao on YouTube here at the Press Club on Wednesday, February 22. The video comprehensively depicts many aspects of Mangaluru.

Shobha Rao is a soft skill trainer, bestselling author and community worker who moved to Mangaluru two years ago and was surprised that many from around the world did not know much about this wonderful city.

Initially, she made these 16-minute videos to inform and inspire everyone about Mangaluru, but then realized that people have a short attention span in this fast paced world. She first released the shorter 5 minute version called memorable Mangalore on February 2 which became an instant hit on Shobha Smilemaker YouTube channel and then she made the longer version called 'More of Mangaluru' on February 22. The videos are released in Kannada, English and Hindi languages.

Corporator Sangeetha R Nayak said, "Shobha Rao has shown the rich heritage and culture of Mangaluru in the video. I hope that this video makes Mangaluru more famous."

Cashew manufacturer Prakash Kalbhavi said, "The video has been beautifully captured, completely focused on Mangaluru as the cleanest city.

Immediate past president of KCCI Isaac Vaz was also present.
