A D'Souza, your cluster questions are quite loaded and I sense another meaning to it. however, for your doubts about how you are going to find a true god.. you must see him in your self. you cannot be doubting Thomas and find god. To find god you must have faith in yourself, your scriptures and by and large respect on others faith and culture. No one had seen god .it is they feel the divinity in their thoughts, acts and deeds. God is nothing but a faith.. worship is training your wandering mind to feel that divinity. As told by Malhotra.. no scripture are written in heaven as heaven and hell is our creation and it exsists with us. Scriptures are product of experience of many generations which is compiled into holy books by Saints, phrophets and sages. there are good moral in them. however, there are certainverses and rules in scriptures written for some era which may not suit the present. hence, we need to ponder into ourselves by unlarging our thought process and get enlightened so that,we can also contribute to scriptures for our gen'xers. we have examples in Dundappa's rituals.look at his contentment.when we have Suresh Kalmadis who try to make money even in toilet paper we also have Dundappa's who are contented with what they have &thankful to God. So, all is not wrong in our country.. we still have Dharma. Hope our govt, will highlight someone like Dundappaas as our national ambassadors so that, citizens will take leaf from their contented life. Thanks Daiji World.

Thanks for the counter comments. However your advices are of no use in any sort. Indians are guarded and protected by company of gods where others are happy with a single mighty god. It seems Indian gods have parliament , ministers, secretaries etc. similar to the current democracy system there. A group of gods in the top and many sub gods & goddess below him to carryout different assigned duties.Since we have freedom of expression , I just expressed my views only and it has nothing do with your worship. Keep enjoying with bunch of gods.

To call Wolf Gang Lindle Baur’s comments silly I am sure you have some good reasons. Please guide him and also others like me in a brief manner with your full knowledge which apparently you possess as opposed to his half knowledge about Dharma. I only hope that this article remains on site for some more time so that we may all get a chance to learn what we have not in the past. There are many religions, many gods and many lords and I think this is the best opportunity, place and time to exchange individual opinions in order that we all are lead to the only one True God finally.

Many thanks. Your interesting comments have increased my curiosity. I would like to know from where you picked up all this formation of St.Michal (mikhael) being none other than Lord Indra and his associates are Angel Raphael (Sun God), Arch Angel (Lord Yama/Malak-Al-Maut) are having same duty to perform.

My second question is, on one hand you are saying whatever you have said in the paragraph you have written and on the other you are saying that the questions won’t solve hence not to ask question but only to believe. I am a bit confused. Please guide me as to how you learnt all that you have learnt and what makes you so confident in believing in your beliefs like Linga, lord, Panjurli etc., Where and how do you draw a line between right and wrong. How can you help me find my only True God. I mean, the Creator God.

Dear Readers...Pl Those who want to know about Panjurli Daiva Please note:-Panjurli Daiva is associated to Rajan Daivas, as cited above, as 'Kshetrapala' (Guardian of the area), in maintaining justice and peace in the places where he is believed and worshipped. He has got seven manifestations. He is the Divine Spirit, who sits in judgement on the conduct of members of a family, village and cluster of villages. Hence he is known by different names. In South of Tulunadu, he is known as ‘Annappa Panjurli’ at Dharmasthala, in the North he protects the borders as ‘Tembikalla Panjurli’, in the East, he is worshipped as Kuppettu Panjurli, in the West he is known as ‘Bolada Panjurli’, and at individual Tuluva households he is known by simple name of ‘Panjurli’. His adventures while guarding and protecting the borders of Tulunadu and benevolence on oblating devotees are legendary.

Mr.A. D'Souza, Kodialbail/arjun, India..God has created Angels and as given as much power as God. In Hinduism Lord Indra is called 'Devata' and his subordinates are Sun God, Moon God, Wind God (Varuna) and many more.. Even to Lord Shiva..has having there own 'Ganas' who follows instructions of Lord Shiva and have same power as like Lord Shiva. In the world Angels are always making miracle and not the God.

God has created this world within seven days.. and he his resting in seventh heavan. As all are having different departments to look after angels are having as much as God. Even Jewism/Christanity/Islam follows the same path. St.Michal (mikhael) is none other than Lord Indra and his associates are Angel Raphael (Sun God), Arch Angel (Lord Yama/Malak-Al-Maut) are having same duty to perform. Jewism/Christanity follows solar calendar Hinduism/Islam follows Lunar calendar.

Annappa Panjurli is also servant of 'Devadhootas' as like devadhoota appeared to Prophet Moses from time to time in the form of Agni/Snake/Cow. Why did devadhuta of moses killed a child below the age of two?. A questions arises is it devadhutas are also involved in a crime?. Question won't solve. In a life only to believe and not to ask questions...because afterall all religions written only on this earth. If God wished earlier itself he had given to mankind a only one Holy Book to follow wherein all the people would have lived peacefully in this society. Who is wrong God/Humanbeings!! Jai Ho..

I was waiting for an answer for the question raised from Mr. AD Souza. The answer came from Barbara Bayer Oman is more Confucius. The meaning of God and Lord seems different in India. But for us Go and Lord are the same. Here one appa ( i.e annappa) is a lord and another appa (yediyoorappa) is a chief Minister. I don't understand the parameters accepted by Indians to decide who is god and who is human. If charity and noble work is a parameter then Mother Theresa and Mahathma gandhi should have been raised to lord hood. Any way its interesting to read stories around many gods and lords of India.

For those who wish to know about Lord Annappa...
It is believed that Lord Annappa Swamy, the messenger of the Dharmadevatas brought Shiva-lingam from Kadri near Mangalore, Birmanna Heggade built a temple of Manjunatha Swamy and installed the Kadri's Shiva Linga there. So that Dharma could be established in the name of the Lord.

Around the 16th Century, Devaraja Heggade invited Shri Vadiraja Swami of Udupi to visit the place. The Swamiji gladly came but refused to accept biksha (food offering) because the idol of Lord Manjunatha had not been consecrated according to vedic rites. Shri Heggade then requested the Swamiji to reconsecrate the Shivalinga himself.

Pleased by the observance of the vedic rites and Heggade's charity to all, the Swamiji named the place Dharmasthala, the abode of religion and charity

    Mr.A. D'Souza, Kodialbail
Interestingly, the narrative about the genesis of 'Annappa Panjurli'is made to include even the Vedic gods, as Vishnu’s sweat is transformed into Panjurli. Likewise,Shiva has been depicted as a character possessing the qualities of both the deity and a village farmer. More than ten paddanas exist that give an account of the adventures of Panjurli Bhuta and thereby its dissemination in the Tuluva region. All of the episodes substantiate the supremacy of Panjurli Bhuta and the reasons for its worship in different places. With its magical power Panjurli causes buffaloes tethered to a jackfruit tree to vanish, momentarily blinds the priest who carried the god in procession at Dharmasthala, makes the elephant of the Kepaadi temple fall sick, does the same to the cattle at Kalle beedu, kills the two wives of Hebri Ballala, and so on. Thus it is that Panjurli Bhuta exhibits its supreme power through an array of magical deeds. Thus Panjurli is worshipped in different places for for different reasons, all concerned with untoward events involving the people, their crops, and their cattle.

Sri Kshetra Dharmastala is looks after Lord Annappa Panjurli and nobody ever dare to steal anything from it's vicinity. Daivas can appear in any form.

Good things in the hands of GOD..Bad things in the hands of SATAN. When one his benefitted from 'Daivas' whose hand is it - of God or Satan??..

All the things start from India and ends with India itself. Jai Ho..

Mr.A. D'Souza, Kodialbail..Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala, Holy Land, is renowned hindu religious shrine having 700 years of history. Here diety is Lord Shiva (Supreme) worshipped as Lord Manjunatheshwara. Dharmasthala, a sacred place, as the name suggests is a place of Truth, Faith, Communal harmony,Cultural Tolerance and spiritual experience. Here everybody enjoys the generous hospitality without any distinction of caste, creed or class whatsoever. Originally place called "Kuduma" wherein, a Jain Heggade couple, Birmanna Heggade and his wife Ammu Ballathi (resided at Nelyaadi beedu) known for piety and hospitality. Four Dharmadevatas - Kalarahu, Kalarkai, Kumarswamy and Kanyakumari got impressed with the hospitality and the treatment given by the Heggade couple, the Dharmadevatas appeared in their dream and promised to stay at Kuduma. As per the wish of the Dharmadevatas, Birmanna Heggade built temples for Kalarahu, Kalarkai, Kumarswamy and Kanyakumari and performed the rituals and ceremonies from time to time. Sometime later, when Lord Annappa Panjurli Swamy, the messenger of the Dharmadevatas brought Shiva-lingam from Kadri near Mangalore, Heggade built a temple of Manjunatha Swamy and installed the Kadri's Shiva Linga there. So that Dharma could be established in the name of the Lord. Lord Annappa is one of ganas (servants) of Lord Shiva obeying there order like Angel Gabriel(Jibreel), Azarel/Lord Yama/Malak-Al-Maut are all work for God. God is ONE.departments many!!.Jai ho
