Kasargod: 80 children of De-Mercy Foundling Home celebrate their birthday at Snehalaya

Kasargod, Apr 4: As many as 80 children of De-Mercy Foundling Home celebrated their birthday at Snehalaya Manjeshwar on Sunday April 3.

Parish priest of Panir church Fr Victor D'Mello offered the thanksgiving Mass at Snehalaya chapel. After the Mass, children gathered at the activity hall for the birthday celebration. Blessings by Fr Victor D'Mello, Fr Edwin Pinto, Deacon Vivian, religious sisters, well-wisher John Maxim D’Souza, Violet, Br Joseph Crasta, Olivia K L and Josliya added more meaning to this celebration.

All the children lit their birthday candles, danced with balloons and cut their birthday cake. They enthusiastically participated in games and cultural programmes. All the children were wished and blessed by the guest along with handing over their birthday gift. Br Joseph Crasta offered the play material Kit to the children of the De-Mercy Orphanage Panir. Sr Luciana was felicitated by the guests at the function.

On the occasion of the golden jubilee of her religious profession. The whole programme was lively compared by Savitha PRO. After the celebration all joined for the fellowship meal.
