Mangalore: Human Rights Club Inaugurated at A J Institute of Management

 Mangalore, Feb 3: Asha Deepa Pai, a renowned special prosecutor of customs and central excise inaugurated Human Rights Club at A J Institute of Management, a Unit of Laxmi Memorial Education Trust (LMET), recently.

Asha Pai in her inaugural address highlighted the importance of protection of human rights in current scenario. She also focused on the issue that the government too, should take necessary initiatives for the protection and welfare of human rights.

In his presidential address, Dr T Jayaprakash, director, A J Institute of Management, stressed that general public should be accustomed and aware about the human rights.

The president of human right club, Prof Chethan Kumar, introduced the guest and briefed abut the programme. Shailesh, proposed the vote of thanks. Sweekrithi Shetty compered.
