Mangaluru, Apr 14: Swathi Poojary, daughter of minister of social welfare and backward classes Kota Srinivas Poojary who bagged third rank in M Com from Kallianpur Milagres college was felicitated at her residence by the college management committee, principal and professors.

Principal Dr Vincent Alva said that Swathi, who is down to earth, brought laurels to the college without telling anytime that she is the daughter of the minister. “She has become a model for all the students in the college. We wish for her to achieve greater in life,” he said.

Swathi responding to the felicitations, thanked the principal, professors and her friends for their help in the achievement.

College IQAC convener Dr C Jayaram Shettigar compered the programme. Prof Sofia Dias, ladies unit convener Prof Reshma, public relations officer Prof Ravinandan and Shanta Srivinas Poojary were present.
