Udupi, Apr 19: A cycle rally was conducted with the theme 'Clean Fuel - Green Life', by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) Mangaluru regional office as part of 'Ajadiya Amrutha mahotsava' on April 17 to raise awareness about fuel conservation and encourage green habits.
Mohammed Issac, special assistant commissioner of Land Tribunal and deputy director, Civil and Food Supply department, Niagaraj Ballal, president, Vidyodaya Trust, Padmaraj Acharya, treasurer, S Ramesh, deputy general manager, HPCL, Pavan Kumar, marketing manager, dealers like Varsha, Divya Hegade, Pavan Muthappa, Raghavendra Acharya and Vishnu Acharya were also present during the event.
The rally was led by Anitharaj, principal of Vidyodaya School. Around 100 students participated in the event. The cycle rally commenced from Vidyodaya School stadium and culminated at Shamili hall Udupi.
