Kundapur, Apr 20: Former union minister and member of Parliament for Uttara Kannada Ananth Kumar Hegde paid a visit to Shivarama Karanth theme park here. He was accompanied by his wife Sriroopa Hegde.

On the occasion, he toured the theme park and garlanded late Shivarama Karanth's life-size bronze statue. He also viewed Karanth's sketch by artist K K Hebbar and the book Mukkajjiya Kanasu. Besides, he also went on a tour of the art gallery, Karanth e-library and the huge Rangamandira during the visit.

Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary who is also in-charge minister of the theme park explained late Shivarama Karanth's thoughts and the daily routine that he had followed.

Earlier, Ananth Kumar Hegde and his wife were accorded a welcome by students of the camp that was being conducted by the theme park.

Resource head of the camp Kumar, curator of the theme park Prashanth Poojary, Santhosh Kadrikattu and others were also present.
