Kundapur, May 30: Swamy Om Shri Vidyananda Saraswati, head of Akhila Bharathiya Santa Samithi visited the residence of Shilpa Devadiga, said to have become victim of 'love jihad' and consoled her parents.

He said to the family members of Shilpa that it is an attempt to change the majority community to minority. “We have slapped a case of sedition against the suspect and ensured that he gets severe punishment. Do not bow to any lure or pressure in the case. Only harsh punishment to the suspect will provide peace to the soul of deceased Shilpa,” he said.

“A girl child is a pedigree which has collapsed here. Awareness about such misdeeds by other religions should be created among girls of Hindu community. The girls should be corrected and brought to the right path. VHP, Bhajrang Dal and other Hindu organizations have become alert and are watching minutely. Bring to the notice of our math of any pressure. Akhila Bharathiya Santa Samithi is with you to share your pain,” he said.

Om Shri Math Mathashree Shivajnana Mahi Saraswathi, Swamy Sri Sai Ishwar, Dwaraka Mahi Math Shankerpura Udupi, VHP leaders Premananda Shetty Katkire and others were present.
