Kasargod, Jun 2: A special team of school and college going girls has been formed with the women police to control and fight the menace of 'road romeos' and eve teasers.
This team works in disguise at bus stops, hotels, resorts where women are subjected to harassment and eve-teasing. If boys indulge in eve teasing or exhibit crass behaviour against girls in buses, the police would book cases against them and put them in jail.
Such teams have become operational in Kasargod, Vidyanagar, Kumble, Badiyadka, Mulleriya, Uppala, and Manjeshwar where police teams have become functional.
