Mangaluru, Jun 12: In a shocking turn around of events, a murder case was registered against three people, who helped to take the mortal remains of an accident victim from Nasik to Mulki Angaragudde, the native place of the deceased person.

Adarsh Das,  a youth from Angaragudde near Kenchanakere, who was running a pan shop in Nasik of Maharashtra, died in a bike accident while returning home after closing the pan shop late at night.

Seeing the abject helplessness of the deceased Das’s family, Jeevan Shetty Angaragudde, former gram panchayat member of Atikaribettu, Anil Poojary owner of pan shop at Nasik and Pratik Shetty, resident of Shimantoor had helped in bringing the mortal remains of the deceased to his native place at Angaragudde at Mulki and helped in conducting final rites.

The trio was shocked when they got a call from Nasik police on the accusation of killing deceased Adarsh Das. The family members of Adarsh had filed a case of murder against Jeevan, Anil and Pratik at Nasik. The trio is completely demoralized by the act of the deceased’s family and lamented that they had to just rush to Nasik police station and clarify the matter with the cops.
