Canadian Brand ‘Canquest Flooring' Comes to Udupi

Udupi, Mar 20: ‘Canquest Flooring’, the franchise showroom of Canadian-based brand for complete flooring requirements, has opened its first showroom in India in the city.

Local entrepreneur Jerry Vincent Dais of Mandavi Builders and president of Udupi Builders Association officially opened the showroom
Ramachandra Adiga, notary and advocate of Udupi, and Athif Hussain of City Developers, were the other guests of honour on the occasion.
Fr Denis D’Sa, administrator, Fr Muller Medical College, Mangalore, invoked blessings on the showroom and wished his brother Wilson all the best in his venture. Jerry Vincent Dais said that a quality product like Canquest Flooring will have a great market in the region.
Speaking on the occasion, Wislon said, “At the moment, Canquest Flooring products sold in GCC counties by Berry Floor - Al Ameemi, is doing a very prestigious project in Yas Island-Muneera which consists of 650 apartments, 80 town houses, and 12 villas totaling 1.5 million sq ft wood flooring. One million sq ft wood flooring, 300,000 ft skirting and 10,000 steps will be supplied by Canquest Flooring. This is a six month project executed by a team of 95 carpenters, six site engineers, one project manager, and an administration team.”
“We are proud to be part of this project because this is a complete green project and all the wood has to be FSC certified. This means the wood is used from sustained forest”, he said.
