Mumbai, Jul 11: A five-year-old boy died after falling from his 11th floor home at Jan Jagruti Society in Agripada on Sunday, Jul 11.
The incident occurred at around 10.15am when the boy was playing on the bed and climbed the window which did not have a grille. Agripada police said the boy slipped after climbing the window. "The boy's mother and others in the house were present but were unable to react in time when they saw the boy falling. The child landed on a parked scooter.
The boy was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead on admission," said a police officer. A case of accidental death has been registered.
