Nirani opens Union Bank’s exclusive branch for Start-Ups

Bengaluru, Aug 30: Large and Medium Industries Minister Murugesh Nirani on Tuesday inaugurated a special branch of the Union Bank of India devoted exclusively to deal with Start Up.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister lauded the efforts of the Union Bank of India to help the entrepreneurs by starting a special branch devoted exclusively to deal with Start Ups and felt such initiatives would help the youth.

Nirani said Union Bank of India was Karnataka’s third largest public sector bank and has a turnover of Rs 1.5 trillion in the State through its 749 branches.

Union Bank of India Manager Alok Kumar and other senior officers were present.
