HCL's Q3 Net Profit Up 33 Per cent at Rs 468.2 Crore


New Delhi, Apr 20 (PTI) IT firm HCL Technologies today posted 33 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 468.2 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 350.3 crore during the third quarter ended March 31, 2010, HCL Technologies said in a statement.

Revenues for the reported quarter were 31.5 per cent up at Rs 4,138.2 crore from Rs 3,132.1 crore in Q3 FY'10.

"We continue to expand market share backed by a second sequential quarter of revenue growth of 30 per cent-plus year-on-year along with expansion in margins," said HCL Technologies Vice Chairman and CEO Vineet Nayar.

He added, "HCL's focus on forward investment in key markets and transformation services is paying rich dividends,"

The company announced a dividend of Rs 2 per share for the quarter.
