Kundapur, Jul 21: Young generation should develop interest in cultivation. Inspirational developments show that farming is the breath of the country. While paddy fields which were like rice plates disappear, people who get into adventure of cultivation in barren land are created. Such a development has taken place at Jaddu, near Vandse here.

Youngsters have developed new fields on the hill. They have converted the new fields for sowing the paddy seeds and planting paddy saplings. The joy derived out of such cultivation cannot be described. Young minds here have experienced it. They want to create awareness about agriculture so that land may not remain barren.

The cultivation is conducted in the premises of ‘Nagashree’ residence of Tunga Poojary, at Hadimane, Vandse. Youth have shown in the leadership of Raghavendra Poojary and Aroma Friends and in the guidance of progressive farmer Prakash Poojary Jeddu that agriculture is possible on barren land also. The experiment has become new inspiration for people in the surrounding.
