Mangaluru: Bus, ambulance collision – Four injured

Mangaluru, Oct 9: Four people including the driver of an ambulance and the patient were injured in an accident that occurred on the afternoon of Saturday at Kulshekhar in the city between a private bus and an ambulance.

The ambulance was transporting patient from Moodbidri to Mangaluru, while the private bus was plying from Mangaluru to Moodbidri.

Ambulance driver Rajesh, a resident of Miyar received injury on his hand, while patient Anni Devadiga received head injury due to the impact of the accident. Relatives of the patient Ganesh Devadiga and Geetha also received injuries to their eyes.

South traffic police are investigating further.
