Mangaluru, Nov 3: One of the important aspects in school apart from academics is the child reaching the school safely. It is important that the school and the commuters of the children should work hand in hand.

St Agnes CBSE school strives to provide safety and security to every child who enters the premises. It also guarantees the parents that school is the safest place for a child to be. Keeping this important aspect in mind a meeting was held on 29th October for all the van, auto drivers who ferry the children daily to school. A good response was shown as all attended the meeting.

The growing traffic is an important concern and finding solution is the need of the hour for this common problem. So, to enlighten us with the consequences and solutions we had the chief guest Mr. Santhosh Kumar K ASI Traffic South Police Station Mangaluru accompanied by the school administrator Sr Edna Furtado AC and principal Sr Maria Gracilda AC.

The traffic inspector shared a lot of information on traffic rules and regulations. He urged all the drivers to keep all the necessary records pertaining to vehicles and students. He stressed that parents, concerned commuters and school should be clear in documentation. He encouraged all the drivers to be efficient in their driving skills with valid license and follow government norms.

The meeting proceeded with the drivers too voicing out their concerns and ideas to make traffic smooth flow and hassle free. The school too put forth their requirements and at the end it was a success.

Rajitha compered the programme, the gathering was welcomed by Priya and vote of thanks was proposed by Chandrika for their excellent participation and response to make this event a success.
