Beltangady: Science exhibition ‘Experiment to Experience’ held at Anugraha Institutions

Beltangady, Nov 3: To provide a platform for the students to use their scientific knowledge, a science exhibition ‘Experiment to Experience’ was organized at Anugraha Educational Institutions, Ujire on November 3.

The science exhibition was inaugurated by the correspondent Fr James D’Souza. The chief guest Govind Prakash, lecturer in computer science, St Philomena College, Puttur. In his inaugural address, said "A science exhibition gives platforms to exhibit the students talents and help to prepare themselves for a competitive world."

The chief guest Roshan D’Souza, science teacher, government high school, Nada, expressed his delight at the innovative ideas the students had displayed and urged the students to take pledge to save our mother nature.

The principal Fr Vijay Lobo lauded the students for their efforts in practically utilizing the scientific knowledge received in the classroom. He said, “If the knowledge of science is properly channelized, it can lead to classic creation."

The correspondent Fr James D'Souza appreciated the principal, staff and students for taking keen interest in organizing the exhibition.

The science teachers of the school Mary, Hemalatha, Raksha, Samatha P planned the event under the guidance of the principal Fr Vijay Lobo.

Antony Fernandes, vice president of PPC, Ananda Krishna, PTA vice president, Mohan Kumar, the CRP and Praveen Fernandes member of the management committee, Ravi Kumar the headmaster were present on the stage. Praveen Fernandez the management committee member exhibited antique items which were appreciated by all.

Fr Vijay Lobo welcomed to the gathering, Raksha rendered vote of thanks and Philomena compered the programme.

The students from the neighbouring schools and parents visited the exhibition and the participants explained their models with great enthusiasm.
