Mangaluru: Milagres Central School celebrates Children’s Day

Mangaluru, Nov 14: Children’s Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and vigour in Milagres Central School on November 14. It was a fun filled day for students. They attended the school in colourful attire.

The special assembly was organized by the teachers to mark the occasion and to make the children feel special. The programme was started by invoking God’s blessing by the teachers.

The principal Fr Joseph Uday Fernandes delivered a speech focusing on significance of Children’s Day. The teachers dedicated a beautiful greeting song to the children.

The children actively participated in the assembly and made the day a memorable one. Class-wise competitions were conducted and winners were awarded with various prizes. The programme was ended with vote of thanks.
