Mangaluru Nov 25: ‘Pre Unique 2K22 - Synergenzio discover the you’, a two-day inter-collegiate fest was inaugurated at St Aloysius PU College on Friday November 25.
Civil lawyer and social activist Fr Jerry Rosario was the chief guest, Tulu and Kannada actor Vineeth Kumar was the guest of honour and the inaugural was presided over by rector of St Aloysius Institutions Fr Melwin Pinto.
Speaking on the occasion Fr Jerry Rosario said, “The participants in the fest have come together for a common cause. Students need to keep their spirits high. The performance prior to the formal function shows how they have collaborated, kept the team spirit, and worked hard for it.”
Vineeth Kumar said, “It is wonderful to be back to St Aloysius College where I spent my college days. I was constantly performing on stage. My interest towards films started during my college days here at St Aloysius. I urge students to believe in your passion. Meanwhile, education is also important and have a strong backup in your life.”
Fr Melwin Pinto said, “All the participants are taking part in Pre-Unique because of their talent. Your talent will be discovered in this fest. The talent in you should reach for a good purpose in life.”
Principal St Aloysius PU College Fr Clifford Sequeira, campus minister Sujay Daniel, vice principal Muralikrishna G M, deans Dr Pradeep M and Kiran Shetty, Pre Unique staff convener Clotilda Reshma Sequeira and others were present.
Vice principal commerce and arts Charlotte D’Souza welcomed the gathering, student convener Harsh Ponappa rendered the vote of thanks and Aban Hassan compered the event.
