Congress, a party of terrorists: Nalin Kumar Kateel

Uttara Kannada, Dec 20 (IANS): Karnataka BJP President Nalin Kumar Kateel on Tuesday alleged that by continously supporting the terrorists, the Congress has turned into a party of "terrorists".

He was addressing the BJP leaders after inaugurating meeting of state office-bearers Murudeshwara town of Uttara Kannada district, he stated that the Congress is defending terrorists for vote bank politics.

The Congress government led by Siddaramaiah supported terrorism, drug and sand mafia. The drug mafia was contained by the BJP government headed by Yediyurappa and Bommai, he said.

"Karnataka Congress President D.K. Shivakumar thinks lightly about the Mangaluru cooker blast. The Congress State President supports divisive forces, anti-nationals and corrupt. Now, it can be called as a party of terrorists," Kateel stated.

He further stated that before independence and after independence, Savarkar is the only leader to be imprisoned. It's not only Savarkar, the Congress has also insulted Dr B.R. Ambedkar as well.

Though the Congress came to power in the name of Ambedkar, the party had never given a chance to Ambedkar to contest elections. Even after his demise, the party did not conduct proper final rites for him, Kateel stated.

The Congress is not the same it once used to be before independence. It has changed, he said.

    No use blaming this joker Benki Kateel. The Congress is at fault here , for the fodder they provided. We all know that DKS is the one who made the sympathy statement on the pressure cooker blaster earlier this week. So this sort of retaliation was expected. Guys , Politics is a cut throat game these days, you have to think 100 times before issuing any statement. Especially in these times of social media coverage. Motor mouths have been booted out of their home constituencies. Any fault will result in being capitalized by the opposite party . Moreover there a now alternatives to BJP and Congress. So both the parties should stop playing 'ball'. Specifically Congress who have literally no base now in DK ,expect in Ullal for obvious reasons.

    BJP wins in a four cornered contests -- Also puts dummy candidates or gets support from parties like Owaisi -- to split muslim votes as happened recently -- or AAP -- with all this they get about about 35 % -- vote share -- Including help from electoral bonds & other institutions -- Yet they behave as though whole country is with them -- Check States which BJP wins hands down -- other than dislodging like in Maharashtra --karnataka-- Only a few states -- are BJP --

    I half-heartedly agree with his point of view where in Congress favoured one community for sake of vote bank. It's our utmost duty to preserve our nation from terrorists acts and involved in anti-national activities. I felt very bad when someone dropped tears during Batla encounter where in some terrorists holed-up during major operation.

    Dear Nalin why you always behind Congress party?! Do some good work for the betterment of society. If Congress is terrorist can you prove your BJP Government ??     Some elements colluded and reports (including Vohra Committee report) that elucidate that were never made public even after BJP came to power in 2014. Few collusions of elements in Congress with anti-state elements beyond our borders at least could have been made public. However, at the same stance you must have appreciated Honorable Shashi Tharoor and others in Congress who came out strongly against Bhutto's comments. Let us all be mature, shall we?
