Bantwal, Dec 22: The identity of the skeleton that was found at Nelligudde in Punacha village has been established. It is confirmed that the skeleton is that of Kamalaksha (32), son of late Veerappa, a resident of Mottethadka-Kedumoole, who left home saying that he is going to Mysuru on some work on October 25.

A skeleton, mobile phone and rope were found at Jarimoole of Nelligudde. After the police visited the spot, they got information about the youth.

Revati, mother of Kamalaksha has filed a complaint now with Vittal police. In her complaint she said that on October 25, when she and her daughter were at home, around 10 am, Kamalaksha went out of the house carrying a pair of clothes saying that he is going to Mysuru on some work. After that he did not contact them at all. When Revati tried contacting him through his mobile phone, it was in switched off mode. But Revati did not file a complaint during that time, expecting that he would return home.

The mother and sister of the deceased identified the clothes, footwear and mobile phone that were found on the spot and identified that they belonged to Kamalaksha.

According to Vittal police, Kamalaksha must have ended his life by hanging himself to the acacia tree.

Even though it is sad ,it looks like bit fishy here.Really when he went out to say going to Mysore or elsewhere parents make inquiry when and what ,and no trace of son then do think of making whereabouts and try to trace him. They didnt do it ?How sad .more investigation is needed here.May his soul rest in Peace.
