Kasargod, Dec 23: City Police have arrested a notorious criminal in true cinematic style on Thursday afternoon at Padannakad of Bekal police station limits.
B Ramsheed, a resident of Ambalattara is the accused. He was expelled from the district under CAFA Act. Acting on a definite tip-off that the accused is arriving to town on Thursday afternoon, police waylaid his vehicle on Padannakad overbridge and took him into custody.
Police confiscated 1.88 gram of MDMA narcotic drug from him. He has countless cases of theft, rowdysm and transportation of narcotic drugs against him.
He was banned from entering the district. However, Ramsheed violated the order and entered the district and police were successful in catching him. The car in which he was roaming around was also confiscated. Police have registered a case against Zubair, who assisted Ramsheed to enter the district.
