Bantwal: 50-yr-old woman hit by two-wheeler while crossing road dies

Bantwal, Dec 25: A 50-year-old woman was killed after a two-wheeler hit her while crossing the road near Perla church here on Sunday, December 25.

The deceased has been identified as Umavathi, a resident of Navoora.



Umavathi was returning home from a shop and a two-wheeler hit her while crossing the road. She died on the spot. 

The deceased woman had served a jail term after killing her husband.

A case has been filed with Bantwal traffic police station.

    Bantwal is become at present hot spot for accidents ,murder ,and robbery.Hope it is not someone killed her with grudge?after hearing that she was released from jail´Whatever it is noone has right to kill or harm others.Rod accidents are increasing with two wheelers.No speed limit ,dont care policy.Wish her soul may rest in peace.Heartfelt sympathy to her family
