MMA was founded 22 years ago in Saudi Arabia. It was reorganized and restructured under a new committee both in Riyadh and Dammam-Khobar in 2009 with the broad aim of doing community services in the field of education, upliftment of deprived section, medical and other areas of services. Distribution of Ramadan kits to the poor families, supply of Fitr-Zakah on Eid days, financial assistance, medical support, monetary helps to the needy families for their girls’ marriage and other altruistic work is being done on a large scale for the past three years.
The Association organizes various programmes on phase-by-phase basis by fund-raising through family get-togethers, cricket tournaments, release of valuable books (MMA already released a book titled ‘Backbiting’) and other viable means. The executive members have indicated that they plan to adopt students who are below the poverty line after identifying them through a field survey. The adopted students will be covered fully and all expenses met including school fees, books, dresses, and the like.
