Puttur, Feb 11: Aboobacker Siddique (16), who was grievously injured in the accident that occurred at Shivagiri at Kalleri and under treatment in a private hospital in Mangaluru, succumbed to injuries on the late night on Thursday February 9.
Siddique, son of daily wage labourer, Kuppetti resident Ibrahim alias Abbonu, was riding pillion along with his friend Mohammed Kaleel on his scooter. The duo was going towards Kuppetti from Karaya. Their scooter crashed onto a goods auto-rickshaw in the rear near Shivagiri. Both rider Kaleel and pillion Siddique were thrown onto the road and received serious injuries.
Rider Mohammed Khaleel is getting treated in the ICU. Siddique was a brilliant student studying in second PU. He is survived by parents, sister and six brothers.
