Kadaba, Feb 14: In an accident that occurred on Monday February 13 near Aithur gram panchayat office of Mardala on Kadaba-Subramanya highway Prithvi (12), son of Natesh, a native of K R Pete died as the car in which he was travelling collided head on with a KSRTC bus.
The car was moving from Mardala to Subramanya. In a bid to overtake another vehicle, the car rammed into the KSRTC bus that was coming from the opposite side.
Natesh (45), father of deceased boy, Roopa (30), mother, Rohini (20), Krishne Gowda (45), Ravi (38), and Parvati (38), all relatives are injured in the accident.
The injured were taken to Puttur hospital and later shifted to Mangaluru Wenlock hospital for higher medical treatment. It is said that the condition of Natesh and Roopa is critical.
Kadaba police have registered a case.
