Puttur, Feb 16: Police arrested accused in connection with sexual harassment of a woman on a bus that occurred a year ago.
The arrested accused is identified as Mohammed Sattar, a resident of Eshawaramangala Dentadi. He had gone absconding after he obtained bail from court.
The court had granted conditional bail to the accused. Sattar was arrested by police on the accusation of sexually harassing a woman on a bus in 2022.
He was released on bail and went underground.
