Beltangady: Student dies in motorcycle-pick-up vehicle collision

Beltangady, Feb 21: An engineering student lost his life in an accident that occurred near Kokradi in Venur between a motorcycle and pick-up vehicle transporting poultry.

The deceased is identified as Ujwal Hegde (20), son of Lalchandra, resident of Kokradi.

Ujwal was going towards his college at Moodbidri on his bike. The pick-up carrying poultry, which approached from the opposite side collided with his bike head on.

A seriously injured Ujwal died on the spot.
