Udupi: Teenaged girl rescued from drowning at Malpe beach

Udupi, Mar 2: A teenager, who was swept away by a high sea wave while playing on the sea beach at Malpe, was rescued from drowning.

Aishwarya (16), a resident of Managi village in Chitradurga district, is the girl who got entangled in the sea waves while playing on the beach.

Lifeguards and diving expert Eshwar Malpe immediately brought Aishwarya, who was drowning, up and gave her first aid. She was admitted to Manipal hospital as she fell sick from drinking too much of salty water.
